The questions our clients ask most often.
Didn’t find the answer to your question?
At Complex Czech we believe that thorough communication with clients and candidates is the key to providing skilled, high-quality workers. Before we select any candidates, we send you a short questionnaire to learn about your company and the workers you need. At this stage we also go through the DMW accreditation, the recruitment process and the budget.
DMW stands for the Department of Migrant Workers, the Philippine government office that looks after workers going abroad (formerly POEA). It protects the rights and welfare of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families.
Every employer in the world that hires Filipino workers must be accredited. The DMW (formerly POEA) requires it to make sure the jobs really exist in the country of employment. Under section 123 of the 2016 POEA rules and regulations, no employer may hire a Filipino worker for work abroad directly, so accreditation is required for all employers.
DMW accreditation is the first essential step before recruiting in the Philippines. It mainly involves documents such as the employment contract, the recruitment agreement, a power of attorney, your company ID number (IČO) and others. They are sent to the Philippine Embassy in Prague for approval and then forwarded to the DMW in the Philippines.
Once you tell us the qualifications you are looking for, we find matching candidates in our database. Our recruiters then hold a first interview to check that each candidate’s skills meet your requirements and match their CV. After this pre-screening you receive the CVs by e-mail together with the candidates’ documents (for example passport and certificates).
Interviews can take place in person in Manila or online (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams). Our recruitment team is always present and ready to help you and the candidates during the interviews.
Yes. If you have already found the workers, we can register them with the DMW for you. Your company needs to be accredited as the employer. Then we contact the workers you want to hire and start collecting their documents for DMW processing.
From the start of selection to the workers’ arrival, the whole process takes about 3 to 5 months.
The employment contract must be for at least 1 year, but we recommend 2 years. The employee card (residence and work permit in one document) is issued for the length of the contract, up to 2 years. If the worker is to stay on, the application to extend the card is filed with the Czech Ministry of the Interior no earlier than 120 days before the card expires and no later than its last day of validity. We will gladly help you with the extension.
